Buntingford Mosaic Unveiled

On Sunday, 2nd February 2025, Councillor Duncan Wallace, the Town Mayor, had the honour of officially unveiling the much-anticipated Buntingford Mosaic.

This stunning piece of art was created as part of the Arts in East Herts showcase, organised by East Herts District Council. Commissioned by Buntingford Live and partially funded by a £1,500 grant from Buntingford Town Council, the mosaic celebrates the town's unique character.

Local businesses and community groups were invited to contribute ideas to the design, and were also invited to participate in its creation, fostering a true sense of community involvement.

The mosaic has been installed at the top of Church Street, proudly showcasing the essence of Buntingford for both residents and visitors to admire.
