Buntingford Community Area Neighbourhood Plan Released For Public Consultation

The pre-submission draft of the Buntingford Community Area Neighbourhood Plan is now available for a period of 6 weeks consultation and comment for residents, businesses and all those that operate within the Buntingford Neighbourhood Area of Aspenden, Buckland & Chipping, Cottered, Hormead, Wyddial and Buntingford.

The document covers all aspects of planning the future of the area until 2031.

It sets out clear policies on - Education, Business & Employment - Environment & Sustainability – Health, Leisure & Recreation – Housing & Development – Transport. It has been created as a result of the many consultation events and surveys that have been carried out in the area over the past couple of years.

You are invited to read the document which is available at www.buntingford-tc.gov.uk/neighbourhood-plan.html and comment using the downloadable comments sheet or complete the electronic SmartSurvey.

Hard copies of the document are available at Buntingford Library and Buntingford Town Council, The Manor House, along with maps and comment sheets. Hard copies are also available in the villages, call 01763 272222 for information on where they are located.

The Manor House, Buntingford will be open from 9.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday 12th and 26th September and 10th October, and from 5.00pm – 9.00pm on Wednesday 16th and 30th September when members of the Neighbourhood Plan team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
