New Gates at Layston Churchyard
Buntingford Town Council has installed two new pedestrian gates at Layston Churchyard.
The old gates were in desperate need of attention and Councillor Stan Bull was especially concerned with their deterioration.
The Town Council agreed that the gates should be replaced in recognition of Councillor Stan Bull's dedicated service to the community.

Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor 2024-2025
On 30th May 2024, at the Annual Meeting of the Council. Councillor Duncan Wallace was re-elected as Town Mayor for the 2024 - 2025 municipal year.
Councillor Mrs Jacky Danagher was also re-elected as Deputy Mayor.

See the world’s best cyclists in Hertfordshire this Friday
On Friday 24 May some of the best professional cyclists will race through Hertfordshire for the first time, as part of the world's greatest festival of cycling.

High St Buntingford Disabled Parking Bay relocation
Hertfordshire County Council are proposing to remove a disabled parking bay in High Street, Buntingford, outside The Buntingford Coffee Shop, and install a new disabled parking bay outside The Falcon.

Seating Area outside of the Coffee Shop, High Street, Buntingford.
The Town Council has been made aware of an issue regarding the seating area outside of the Coffee Shop in Buntingford High Street.

D-Day Commemoration Event

Buntingford Town Council and the Buntingford branch of the Royal British Legion are commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a special ceremony and beacon lighting.
The event will take place at the Buntingford War Memorial at 20:15 on Thursday 6th June 2024.
All are welcome to attend.
The Ceremony will end at 21:30.

Coronation Tree Planting

New Councillor
At the Council meeting on 25th January 2024, Phil Ricketts was co-opted onto Buntingford Town Council.
