All residents of Buntingford are invited to participate in Buntingford Civic Society's competition 'Buntingford in Bloom - 2018'. There will be prizes for front gardens, rear gardens & container gardens.

The judging will take place on Saturday 14th July 2018 and the judging panel will be looking for:

Overall design and appearance - 20 points
Choice and quality of plants - 20 points
Health of plants - 10 points
Cleanliness and tidiness of garden - 10 points
Lack of weeds - 10 points
Plants that attract birds and insects - 10 points
Evidence of water conservation - 10 points
Evidence of environmentally friendly gardening techniques - 10 points

Winners will be notified in mid-July and the judging panel's decision will be final.

To enter, simply complete an entry form available from the Manor House or in the June issue of the Buntingford Journal and return it to the Manor House. Closing date for applications is Monday 18th June 2018.
