Hello, I have been on the council since March 2020. I have lived in Buntingford since 1979 with my wife Jane. Our children were both educated at schools in the town. Until the age of 29 I was employed in agriculture. I was then to spend the next 31 years in policing, the first half mainly spent on Roads Policing duties. The second half of my career, following promotion was spent locally on neighbourhood policing with specific responsibility for Buntingford and the rural areas of East Herts. Since May 2022 I have been your town Mayor, a civic role, where I have represented the town at local, district and county events. I have a keen interest in youth related matters and also in securing infrastructure investment for our town.

Duncan was initially Co-opted onto the Council in February 2020.

Councillor Wallace was appointed as Chairman of the council for 22/23 and re-appointed as Mayor for 23/24 and 24/25.
