Remembrance Sunday

A remembrance service will be held at the War Memorial at St Peter's Church in memory of those who lost their lives in war conflicts.

Late Night Shopping Evening

Late Night Shopping is back for another year with Christmas Carols, a Children's Funfair, Hot Food & Mulled Wine and a seasonal market.

Many businesses in the town will be open until late with many holding stalls out on the High Street. Come and join in on the festivities from 4pm.

Lights Of Love

Our annual Lights of Love Ceremony in partnership with the Isabel Hospice is back for 2017.

Come and join us on Late Night Shopping Evening to celebrate Christmas with carol singing, speeches from local representatives and the lighting of our town tree.

This event has been extremely popular over the years, so join in with the festivities!

Get On Track

The Railway industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK. If you would like to pursue a career with excellent earning potential, contact Ros Padgett on 07920 456782 or email ros.Padgett@clarionhg.com.

The course is open for those who are receiving Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance or Universal Credit and not currently in employment. You will need to attend a pre-course assessment session to ensure that the course is suitable for you and answer any questions you may have.

The classes will take place for five days a week over five weeks starting on 27th November 2017. The first two weeks will be held at Bishop's Stortford Town Council Chambers, one week at Havering College and one week on site based at Walthamstow.

Screening session is being held on 22nd November 2017 at Bishop's Stortford library.
